Benny’s Backyard is a family-owned, boutique dog daycare and boarding facility in Wilton, CT, created for families looking for a more personal alternative to traditional kennels.
We are intentionally smaller so we can get to know our dogs—their personalities, favorite friends, routines, play styles, and when they need a little downtime.
Our cage-free philosophy means pups spend their days playing, exploring, relaxing, and spending time with people and compatible dogs instead of spending most of their visit confined.
For overnight stays, we offer open-camp sleeping and cozy private suites, with our CPR-trained team on-site 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Because at Benny’s, we don’t just watch your dog.

We’re Emma and Francisco, dog parents ourselves and the family behind Benny’s Backyard.
Benny’s grew from a simple idea: create the kind of dog daycare and boarding experience we would want for our own dogs—smaller, more personal, less stressful, and filled with familiar people and friends.
As an extension of The Groom Room in Ridgefield, Benny’s continues a long tradition of caring for local dogs and building relationships with their families.
Conveniently located in Wilton, Connecticut, we welcome families from Wilton, Ridgefield, Georgetown, Redding, Weston, New Canaan, and surrounding communities.
Whether your pup comes for daycare or stays for a cozy night, our goal is simple:
